Inspired by a childlike sense of wonder and the smallest details of the everyday, Kiki’s world is whimsical and colorful, lyrical and personal, yet refined by a rigorous attention and skillful craftsmanship. Kiki van Eijk and Joost van Bleiswijk together form the Dutch design studio Kiki and Joost.
“Beauty is everywhere around us. I believe nature gives us the purest sense of beauty. It reminds us of what is truly important in life. I’m surrounded by this pure sense of beauty ever since I decided to live in a natural protected area. I picked the most beautiful petals of flower plants in my garden and this design is one of them: an Hortensia petal, a gift from nature”.
