Intersection is a series of dining tables, sideboards, bookcases and a chair inspired by monastery life. Design studio Neri&Hu, based between Shanghai and London, designed and developed the collection during the pandemic and found themselves drawn to a life of contemplation and reflection on what’s essential, a life spent communing and sharing with an open heart.
Despite its simple and austere look, Intersection radiates a certain sense of tranquility and serenity. Simplicity is expressed through clean and uncluttered lines, evoking traditional and religious furniture. It is an invitation to focus on what truly matters, on building sincere relationships. Made from high-quality natural walnut, the collection’s pared back designs are a testament to the skills of the artisans who crafted them.
